In this 4-hour class, embark on a series of simple and fun art activities to train your visual hand-eye coordination, complementing your own inhibitions and creative style. You will be shown how key Elements of Art and Principles of Design can strengthen your exploration process to allow for self-discovery and revelation. Finish the class by sharing your personal art piece.

Von Ong
Von’s artistic journey began with a can of spray paint over a huge mural for a community project in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Embarking on a creative pathway since, Von has over 2 decades of experience teaching Visual Arts and ceramics in MOE schools. From coordinating cluster-wide ART-inspired learning journeys to collaborating with National Gallery of Singapore on Museum Education and even authoring storybooks and assessment books for local publishing companies, she is a strong advocate for the creative arts. Currently she has decided to pursue her lifelong passion to start her own private ceramics studio to do what makes her happy. Seize the clay, Von!

Fiona Seow
Transformation Through Drama was founded in 2005 by Nora Crothers. At inwardBOUND, we believe that drama has the power to transform the very core of human society: the self. Our name represents a world made better through empathy and harmony. We nurture young talents to be the best at what they do because the future lies in their hands.
For over 15 years, we have tirelessly inspired thousands of participants and tens of thousands more audience members with our co-curricular programmes, touring shows, and our signature re:ACT Festival to drive social change. Puppetry with Everyday Objects
In this 2- hour class, re-imagine the familiar and make something extraordinary! Using everyday objects, you will design and create a puppet of your imagination. You will learn how to re-purpose mundane objects around the house and assemble the body, head, leg, arms and eys into a the puppet. Not only that, you will learn to control and manipulate the puppet, bringing the puppet to live on stage with movement and sound. Two hours will fly by and you would have created a unique puppet and a little show it stars in!

Auderia and Vanessa
Auderia is a bilingual theatre practitioner who performs, writes and facilitates drama programmes for communities. She is passionate about applied theatre, physical theatre and puppetry, and believes that theatre is the ideal medium in which to create socially engaged art. Auderia has co-created, facilitated, performed and written programs for various communities since her time in school. Credits includes 不会游泳的小鸭 (Paper Monkey Theatre), Gravity (The Finger Players), 牛转乾坤 (Paper Monkey Theatre). She has also recently started her journey as a maker and puppetry educator under the guidance of The Finger Players and Paper Monkey Theatre.
Vanessa graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2018, as a member of NUS Stage, and trained under theatre practitioners such as playwright Desmond Sim, Pavan J Singh, writer & director Jonathan Lim, and Edith Podesta. She graduated from WILDRICE's youth actor training programme Young & Wild in 2020. Vanessa has a keen interest in exploring the areas of intersection and the crossing of boundaries through drama.
